6G aims to provide not only order-of-magnitude improvement in data rates, but enable fundamentally new applications by dramatic improvements in latency and security. Collaborations between experts in different fields and across layers will be required to achieve these goals. The Wireless Devices and Systems (WiDeS) group is happy to support 6G-RIC in its goals to foster such collaborative research.
