6G will have a transformational impact on society, enabling intuitive new applications such as extended reality (XR) that require unprecedented situational awareness and communication speeds.   At 6G@UT, our research is focused on the key 6G-era pillars of (i) Deeply embedded machine learning at all layers of the 6G stack, (ii) New spectrum and topologies, such as dense LEO for global coverage, (iii) Pervasive sensing, and (iv) Open networks.
