Our Wireless Communications Experts have prepared a wide range of exhibits from our 6G-RIC Research and Innovation Cluster.
We presented four (live) demos:
- Our latest proof-of-concept for human-robot interaction with an implementation of neuromorphic wireless cognition. The setup integrates wireless communications with neuromorphic sensing, neuromorphic processing (mimicking the human brain), and sidelink communication for robotic control.
- Experience localization with centimeter-level accuracy and simple gesture recognition for yourself in this interactive demo on mobile radio synchronization signals. The signals are transmitted and received at 160 GHz with 4 GHz bandwidth to generate a live radar image of the environment.
- It’s all about #chips: An integrated phased array transceiver chip at D-band. This can be applied for both fronthaul and backhaul communication. We can also use the chip for joint communication and sensing.
- MAC-FEC-MAC demo: Here we implement MAC and FEC using FPGA. This helps to accelerate the data link layer and LDPC encoder/decoder using the hard IPs.
