6G-RIC Consortium Meeting & PhD Workshop @ TU Braunschweig | March 2023

With more than 120 participants, the 6G-RIC Consortium Meeting took place in the Haus der Wissenschaft @ TU Braunschweig.

In addition to scientific presentations and joint workshop sessions based on the Technological Innovation Areas (TIAS) and the advancement of common milestones, a PhD workshop with about 60 students was an important part of the program. Networking and promoting qualified professionals is an important milestone of the 6G-RIC project – fostering young talents and enabling prospects.

“One of the greatest challenges of the technological shift towards 6G is how to reconcile the expected explosive growth in data traffic, the integration of sensor services and the massive network densification with the demand for global sustainability and fairness,” states Prof. Slawomir Stanczak, coordinator of the 6G-RIC research hub.

Kudos to Prof. Dr. Thomas Kürner and Prof. Dr. Eduard Jorswieck, for having us and hosting the event at TU Braunschweig.

We are grateful for the joint exchange and looking forward to the upcoming events together within the 6G-RIC project.
