We were excited to host 30 high school students as part of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft‘s “Talent Take Off” program. With experts from our departments Wireless Communication and Networks & Vision and Imaging Technologies, the students learned about solutions for computer-assisted medicine in our MedLab as well as the next standard of mobile communication #6G. To illustrate the immense potential of 6G technologies, we visited the #6GRIC Showroom at our Science Tech Space at @HHI. Here the students learned how data is transmitted via 6G by using one of our all-time favorite exhibits: Our robot dogs. Inspiring tomorrow’s engineers & scientists, especially in the area of mobile network development, is an important mission of the 6G-RIC Research and Innovation Cluster funded by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung.
